Your First Visit

Prior to your visit, we will request that you fill out our new patient forms. We can either mail them to you, or you can download them from this site . This will save you the time of filling out the forms when you arrive at our office.

Dr. Howard will then perform an examination of your teeth and bite and give you a professional opinion of whether you or your child might benefit from orthodontic treatment and what type of therapy might be involved.

If the doctor believes the timing is appropriate, we would then obtain orthodontic records. This includes taking digital photographs of you so we can discuss your bite and treatment options, taking impressions for orthodontic study models and obtaining two special X-rays to evaluate the underlying skeletal structures and the teeth.
